Yang Kun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of CEC, Visited CEPPEA for Research and Discussion
On January 19th, Yang Kun, the Party Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the China Electricity Council (CEC), along with his delegation, visited the China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Association(shorted as CEPPEA) for research and guidance work. They held discussions with the Chairman of CEPPEA, Wu Chunli, and the Executive Vice Chairman, Li Aimin, among others, focusing on enhancing the level of market-oriented services, promoting the low-carbon transformation of the electricity industry, and constructing a new type of power system and energy system. Chairman Wu Chunli chaired the research and discussion meeting.
Chairman Wu Chunli warmly welcomed Secretary Yang Kun and his delegation to the CEPPEA for research and guidance work, expressing gratitude for the long-standing support and assistance from CEC to the CEPPEA. After watching the promotional video of CEPPEA, Li Aimin, provided a work report covering the development history, basic situation, party building, member service work, and future development ideas.
Secretary Yang Kun affirmed the development achievements of the CEPPEA in recent years. He stated that the CEPPEA has made remarkable achievements and has advantages in industry evaluation, standardization, professional services, talent cultivation, and party building. He conveyed recent requirements regarding the party building and management work of social organizations and proposed that, currently, the CEC is actively promoting the industry's green and low-carbon transformation to help achieve the "dual carbon" goals. In the future, the electric power industry association should take party building as the link, collaborate in promoting the construction of a new type of power system, serving the development of the industry's international business, and building the talent team in the electricity industry. Together, they should consolidate consensus and advance the high-quality and sustainable development of the electricity industry to a new level.
Chairman Wu Chunli concluded by emphasizing that the CEPPEA, under the leadership of the CEC Party Committee, should comprehensively strengthen party building in accordance with the overall deployment and requirements of the CEC. They should effectively enhance professional service capabilities, continuously improve the level of providing suggestions, and work together to strive for a new situation in achieving the high-quality and sustainable development of the electricity industry.
