The 6th Meeting of the 9th Executive Council of the CEPPEA Successfully Convened

On November 3rd, the 6th meeting of the 9th Executive Council of the China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Association (shorted as CEPPEA) was successfully held in Nanjing. Chairman Wu Chunli, Executive Vice Chairman Li Aimin, Vice Chairmen Pang Ke, Chen Jing, Zhang Yiguo, along with representatives of the Executive Council and unit delegates attended the meeting, with three supervisors in attendance. The meeting was presided over by Vice Chairman Chen Jing.

The agenda included the review and approval of the work report titled "Cohesive Industry Consensus, Convergence of Industry Forces, and Assistance in Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Electric Power Engineering Industry," presented by Executive Vice Chairman Li Aimin, which encompassed a summary of the CEPPEA's work in 2023 and the arrangement of key tasks for the CEPPEA in the upcoming period. Representatives at the meeting commended the CEPPEA's work this year and provided valuable opinions and suggestions from industry development, post-pandemic directions, and the reform and transformation of engineering companies combing with the annual work.

Chairman Wu Chunli delivered concluding remarks, emphasizing the industry's need to actively respond to the complex and evolving domestic and international environment, enhance industry self-discipline, promote high-quality development, strengthen the association's service functions, and collectively foster an industry propaganda "ecosystem." The meeting also approved the "Self-discipline Convention for the Electric Power Survey and Engineering Industry" and accepted membership applications from 10 units, including China Offshore Oil Research Center Ltd. Additionally, the meeting appointed Zhang Bingcheng, the Vice Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Technology Information Department of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., as the Vice Secretary-General and Acting Secretary-General of the CEPPEA.
