Ceremony Held to Celebrate 100,000 Incident Free Hours of Solar Photovoltaic Project at Jurong Island in Singapore
On June 22 local time, Solar Photovoltaic Project at Jurong Island in Singapore, successfully held a celebration event for achieving "100,000 Incident Free Hours" at the construction site.
More than 350 participants from China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (SEPEC) and various participating units witnessed this milestone of the project.
Themed "Safe Hands", the event included diverse safety awareness training activities such as watching an educational cautionary documentary, safety lectures in six languages, and a simulated "finger amputation" experience. These activities aimed to strengthen the safety awareness of personnel on-site and remind workers to protect their hands during work to prevent accidents.
At the conclusion of the event, all project participants pledged their support for "Safe Hands", emphasizing that "A Safe Hand is a Winning Hand, Hand Safety is in Your Hands".
The event also commended the advanced safety production workers who performed well in the "100,000 Incident Free Hours", and awarded certificates and prizes.
Solar Photovoltaic Project at Jurong Island is currently Singapore's largest ground-mounted photovoltaic project in installed capacity, and the third successful EPC project developed by SEPEC in Singapore. The project is divided into six plots covering approximately 60 hectares in total, with a total installed capacity of about 117MW.
Upon completion, it will further advance Singapore's local green and low-carbon transformation, injecting new vitality to the sustainable development of green energy in Singapore.
