  On March 30^th, 2021, the CEPPEA Standard Code for design of attached substation compilation Outline Review Meeting was held in Shenzhen. Based on pilot projects and conclusions from communication with fire approval department, this standard was compiled by Shenzhen Power Supply Planning and Design Institute Co., LTD, fire approval department, owner, and experienced power design enterprises. This standard broke the traditional practice that the substation must occupy an independent area to provide new solutions for the cities with land shortage and solve the problem that the current standards cannot meet the needs of social development.

  Hao Shijie, the deputy secretary-general of CEPPEA, Su Honghong, director of Standardization Management Department, and specialists attended the meeting which was hosted by Wang Jing, the director of Power Transformation Depart from China Electric Power & Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. The president of Shenzhen Power Supply Planning and Design Institute Co., LTD, Zhou Jun gave the welcoming speech.

  Hao Shijie said that Association Standard had been granted legal status with the aim to meet the need of market and innovation. He hoped that this standard would be one of the models of CEPPEA Standards and expressed welcome and gratitude to the active participation of representatives from various industries.

   During the meeting, the compilation outline, correlational studies and researches, and the situation about pilot projects were introduced. Specialists reviewed the compilation outline and reached an agreement on principle, content, division of work, and schedule of this standard. The meeting achieved its intended purpose.
