    Oct 27^th, 2020 engineering design liability insurance meeting which was sponsored by China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Association(CEPPEA), undertaken by Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co.,LTD was held in Taiyuan. Gao Hong, deputy secretary-general of CEPPEA and Zhang Jianhong former director of business coordination department attended the meeting and gave speeches. More than 20 representatives in charge of the insurance business from more than 20 member enterprises participated the meeting.

    Gao Hong reviewed the operation and development of electric power survey and design industry in 2020 and summarized the work in promoting the upgrading of industry. He emphasized that with the expansion of business scope, the risks enterprises faced are increasing. Unit enterprises would learn to manage and control the risks. He hoped that the participants can know more about insurance and take an active part in the subject research of Application of Engineering Insurance in Power Engineering Industry.

    Zhang Jianhong summarized the participation situation of engineering design liability insurance of member enterprises in the past five years, and made arrangement for the insurance work in 2021. Engineering design liability insurance plays an important role in the process of industry transformation. At last, she said that CEPPEA would continue to build the platform for unit enterprises.
