The 4th Final of China Electric Power Engineering Information Modeling (EIM) Competition held in Tianjin 发布时间:2020-11-20 浏览次数:1859

    On November 12, China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Association（CEPPEA）held the final of the  4^th Electric Power Engineering Information Modeling (EIM) Competition in Tianjin, with the assistance of Tianjin Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. After the procedure of demonstration, preliminary round head judge comments, question and answer, 18 judges scored 16 award-winning works, and finally the only top prize, which was voted from the six first prizes of each group by the judges, was awarded to "Comprehensive Digitized Application in EPC Project of Yangfanggou Hydropower Station" completed by Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited of PowerChina with a large margin of votes.

    The 16 works cover 6 business categories, namely, hydropower, thermal power, power transmission, power transformation, new energy and non-electric business, which reflects the in-depth and all-round digital transformation of power engineering industry.

  "Presently the driving force of digital transformation comes from two aspects, one is the requirements of owners, and the other is the needs of business transformation which is the origin of endogenous power of design enterprises", Li Aimin, Executive vice president of CEPPEA and the founder of the competition said.

    The intention of the competition is to promote digitized application in the industry, and finally realize the digital transformation. This goal has been achieved step by step in Li Aimin’ point of view.
