On November 25, “Top 80 Chinese Contractors and Top 60 Chinese Engineering Design Enterprises”awards ceremony was held by two authoritative media whose name are Engineering News Record (ENR) and Construction Times. These enterprises on the lists witnessed the birth of new iconic enterprises in the construction industry of China. According to the lists, 80 contractors (China State Construction Engineering Corporation, etc.) and 60 engineering design enterprises (Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, etc.) were shortlisted for the most powerful lineup in the construction industry of china.

These lists are based mainly on the ranking of operating revenue in engineering contracting and design in the year of 2015. Therefore, the characteristics and development tendency of Chinese engineering industry have been embodied in the “new normal” economy from this list.

In the meantime, sponsors also showed rankings to award top 10 contractors and engineering design firms separately in the aspects of having “the most international expending force” and “the most effective force”, which was according to the market performance of contractors and engineering design enterprises in the last year.

With the recommendation of China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Association, there are 20 firms topped 2016“top 60 Chinese engineering design firms”list. Compared with last year, the list includes 4 new firms.
